Good to know

Stem separation is slow or heats up my device.

Separation runs a neural model fully on-device, so it's compute-heavy. Keep the app in the foreground until it finishes — leaving the app cancels the run.

Online lyrics don't appear.

Lyrics are fetched from a public database by title and artist; some songs simply aren't in it. Make sure the online lyrics option is enabled in settings and you're online.

How does EarString Pro work across my devices?

Pro unlocks AI stem separation and the equalizer. It's a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock, and it's shared across iOS and macOS under the same Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.

Does EarString collect my data?

No accounts and no analytics. Your audio is analysed and separated locally and never leaves your device; purchases are handled by Apple.
