EARSTRING

Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 August 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the EarString app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

License

EarString grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

EarString Pro — subscriptions and purchases

Some features (currently stem separation) require EarString Pro, available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only with audio you own or are otherwise authorized to use, and in compliance with all applicable laws, including copyright. EarString is a practice and analysis tool; you are responsible for how you use its output.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Analysis results (chords, beats, key, stems, lyrics) are best-effort and may contain errors.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EarString shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
